SINGAPORE – Genting Cruise Lines has extended flexible booking for its Dream and Star Cruises brands to enable travellers cancellation and refund.

Another spark of good news:

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has issued assurances in letter to cruise friends, ‘We will help you through this period’. Read about these measures here.

The cruise line’s ‘Cruise As You Wish’ initiative covers all new and existing bookings made for sailings before or on 31 July 2020, offering travellers the ability to cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing and receive the full sum as a cruise credit. The credits can be redeemed on any Dream and Star Cruises sailing on or before 31 December 2020.

“On behalf of Dream Cruises and Star Cruises under Genting Cruise Lines, we thank our guests for their continued support and we understand the concerns of traveling and taking a vacation in light of the COVID-19 global pandemic,” said Michael Goh, president of Dream Cruises and head of International Sales of Genting Cruise Lines.

“We hope with introduction of the ‘Cruise As You Wish’ assurance, it will help minimise booking concerns among our guests and at the same time provide them with the much needed flexibility and cruise option.”

The company has been working closely with local and regional authorities to implement precautionary measures such as stringent health screening processes and enhanced sanitisation and disinfection protocols across its fleet.

There have been no cases of Covid-19 among guests or crew on board or spread on any of Genting Cruise Lines’ ships.
