The Ascott Limited (Ascott) is marking its seventh anniversary with an enhanced loyalty proposition, expanding its Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) into a more integrated travel rewards ecosystem.
For its more than eight million members, ASR will now extend beyond accommodation to include flights, experiences and events – broadening how points can be earned and redeemed.
A key highlight is a new partnership with KrisFlyer, the frequent flyer programme of Singapore Airlines. Members can now convert ASR points into airline miles at a rate of 20 points to one KrisFlyer mile, positioning ASR among the few hotel loyalty programmes globally to offer both earning and conversion capabilities with an airline partner.
From June, ASR will further expand its airline network – which currently includes All Nippon Airways, AirAsia and Singapore Airlines – with the addition of Cathay Pacific. The partnership will also enable Cathay Pacific’s Silver, Gold and Diamond members to enjoy tier-matching benefits within ASR.
Ascott is also introducing new stay-based privileges. Platinum and Gold members will also get complimentary access to newly opened Ascott properties during their first month of opening. Piloted at Oakwood Cameron Highlands which opened in March, the programme will roll out globally including at lyf Chinatown Singapore and Citadines Elizabeth Street Hobart.
In addition, members can earn a complimentary night’s stay with a minimum of six qualifying nights across participating properties for stays between April and May 2026.
Destination experiences booked through the loyalty programme can also accumulate points, which can be redeemed for Chelsea Football Club matchday experiences, selected ASR Local Signatures events, and tours and attraction tickets.
