SINGAPORE – Singapore Airlines will automatically renew all KrisFlyer Elite and PPS Club membership statuses for another 12 months at the end of their respective membership year.
In a message sent to KrisFlyer members, Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong said the offer applies to all memberships expiring from March 2020 through to February 2021.
The validity of any expiring PPS and Elite Gold Rewards will also be extended until 31 March 2021.
The airline said flight credits for unused portion of tickets affected by cancellations would be valid for a new booking any time from now until 31 March 2021. SIA has also waived no-show and rebooking fees.
Several other airlines are also allowing elite flyers to retain their status for a period of 12 months.
Qantas will allow Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum One frequent flyers to retain their status through to as far as 2022.
Qantas Frequent Flyers with a membership year anniversary date between March 2020 and February 2021 will automatically retain their current status for the subsequent 12 months.
