Italian company Costa Cruises has announced a coffee deal with Caffè Vergnano to bring "the unique flavor of Made in Italy espresso on board its cruise ships".

Said Mario Zanetti, President of Costa Cruises, "It's a new, important partnership with a historic company, which shares our same values of promoting Italian excellences and attention to environmental and social sustainability."

This new collaboration will see the first Caffè Vergnano 1882 branded venue aboard the brands two green ships: Costa Smeralda and the still under construction sister ship, Costa Toscana.

Founded in 1882, the historic Piedmontese coffee company is still run by the Vergnano family, and exports to more than 90 countries worldwide.
