Beginning 28 August, the ship will offer five back-to-back, seven-day Greece sailings and one Mediterranean cruise. The itineraries will include 18 late-night stays in port, including on Santorini, Rhodes and Crete.

The sailings, departing from from Athens (Piraeus), will be Azamara's first as an independent cruise company after being sold by the Royal Caribbean Group in March to private equity firm Sycamore Partners for US$201 million.

Carol Cabezas, president of Azamara, said that the main feedback the line has gotten from past guests and travel advisors over the past year is "the desire everyone has to sail again". The Greece cruises will open for booking on 11 May, at which time the line will also reveal its health and safety guidelines. The crew on the Quest will also be fully vaccinated.

Cruises on Azamara's two other ships, the Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit, are suspended until September. Azamara purchased a fourth ship, the Azamara Onward, shortly after its the sale. The ship is scheduled to undergo an extensive renovation prior to launching its inaugural Europe season in 2022.

Azamara was Sycamore's first travel-related investment. Former Holland America Line president Orlando Ashford is the line's executive chairman.
