Rosewood Hotel Group has launched Carlyle & Co, a private members’ club consisting of a curated community of individuals distinguished not by status or profession — but by personalities, passions and stories.
“I am thrilled to bring the irrepressible spirit, inimitable style and intangible sense of magic that I fell in love with at The Carlyle in New York to Hong Kong with the inaugural Carlyle & Co,” said Sonia Cheng, CEO of Rosewood Hotel Group and founder of Carlyle & Co.
The Hong Kong based club will offer these members a host of luxury dining, lifestyle, cultural and entertainment options.
Located above Rosewood Hong Kong, Carlyle & Co is a 2,300sqm social space "providing the community and connection that people are longing for".
Spaces designed to support working, dining and socialising from day through night have been set out, including a music room, games room, barber and tailor to the wine cellar, brasserie and more. There's also an outdoor terrace granting views of Hong Kong city.
A private floor with eight individually designed bedrooms are available for members and their guests who wish to stay overnight. These rooms are named after characters connected to The Carlyle's storied history since 1930.
Apart from being the first destination for the global group to roll out this private club, Rosewood's Hong Kong members will also have access to the brand's first Café Carlyle — a supper club — outside of New York.
Members can also tap on the club's cultural programme, which run the range from business insights and experimental wellness workshops, to connoisseur wine tastings and innovative panel discussions.
