The new Avani+ Koh Lanta Resort offers guests a hilltop hideaway
among the trees that overlooks the Andaman Sea in Koh Lanta, Krabi.
Inspiration from the heritage of Sriraya or the Lanta Old Town has
been incorporated into the design of the resort’s 92 guest rooms, suites
and private pool villas. The three different accommodations offer
guests the option of a pool view, pool access or sea view.
Most notable among all its rooms is the Grand Ocean Residence,
perched high on top of the private peninsula with a private garden area,
living room, and dining and kitchen facilities, ideal for guests
travelling as a group.

The resort features three dining and drinking spots — Pantry by Avani
that serves up freshly brewed coffee and pastries; The Cliff, the main
poolside restaurant, that incorporates fresh seafood caught by the local
fishing villages and ingredients sourced from the island’s organic
market for its dishes; and the Reggae Bar that allows guests to catch
the sun setting over the Andaman Ocean with cocktails in hand.
The Lanta island is located 70km south of Krabi International
Airport, accessible via a 15-minute ferry ride. Avani+ Koh Lanta
Resort's strategic location in Koh Lanta offers the opportunity for
guests to get in touch with nature and recharge their mental well-being.
Activities range from exercising along the beach; island-hopping;
enjoying a boat ride in the Tung Yee Peng Mangrove forest; or diving in
the crystal-clear waters of Koh Haa.
The launch of Avani+ Koh Lanta Resort adds to Avani Hotels &
Resorts’ portfolio of 30 properties in Asia Pacific, the Middle East,
Africa, and Europe. The brand’s upcoming developments will feature new
properties in destinations such as Vietnam and the Maldives, including
the upcoming launch of another Avani+ in Khao Lak, Thailand.
