For those who are feeling burnt out, taking a forest bath might just be that healing balm needed.

Banyan Tree Krabi is the latest to tout this decades-old Japanese practice, called Shinrin-yoku, which guides tensed minds and bodies to 'wash' in nature's presence.

“Every study I have read says that ‘forest bathers’ demonstrate reductions in stress, anger, anxiety, depression and sleeplessness,” said Banyan Tree Krabi’s Sustainability Manager, Thepsuda Loyjiw.

Banyan Tree Krabi is well located to deliver forest bathing, hiking and birdwatching, since a trail from the resort connects directly to Khao Ngon Nak National Park's tropical forest, or to the popular Dragon Crest Hill trail.
