When The Langham, Jakarta opens its doors within the District 8 complex in the Sudirman CBD on 9 September, it will become the group's first property in Southeast Asia.
The 223-key hotel will feature all the luxury elements, including a 10m-high lobby with dramatic interiors, chandeliers and curved stairway; a Club lounge on level 59 with a writer's corner, library and dedicated butlers; and rooms starting from a spacious 45sqm for the deluxe room up to the 336sqm presidential suite.
Fans of Langham will also recognise brand icons like the 670sqm Chuan Spa, delivering treatments based on traditional Chinese medicine philosophies and offering Jakarta's highest indoor infinity pool with city views.
On the dining front, there's T’ang Court, inspired by its Three Michelin Starred Cantonese restaurant namesake at The Langham, Hong Kong. Other culinary options include Tom’s by Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens, afternoon tea sessions at Alice, and the local outpost of the Artesian bar in London.
The luxury hotel offers more than 2,100sqm of venue space, including a 688sqm ballroom, outdoor garden for cocktail events, and another 11 smaller meeting rooms.
