The Middle East is emerging as a major playground for Thailand's renowned hospitality brands, with Chiva-Som the latest to plan a flag in the region.

Come end-2021, Chiva-Som will bring its famed wellness philosophy from its Hua Hin flagship in Thailand to the Middle East when Zulal Wellness Resort debuts in Qatar.

Set to be the largest wellness destination in Qatar, Zulal Wellness Resort will mark a first in offering contemporary Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine programmes, building on the indigenous traditions of each destination.

According to Chiva-Som Chairman and CEO, Krip Rojanastien, there will be more than 400 wellness treatments that feature traditional Qatari elements, herbs, hot stones, and Arabic rituals at its hammam zone.

Guests over 16 years old can head to the Zulal Serenity, while multi-generational travellers are catered for at Zulal Discovery, both offering a range of treatments as well as educational activities, sports and creative arts, and cuisine focused on 'food as medicine'.
