Swire Hotels has announced several senior leadership transitions across The House Collective and EAST brands.

Heading up Swire Hotels as new group director of operations is Giovanni Beretta, who will be relocating to Hong Kong with his family to assume this latest role to oversee all hotels and restaurants in Hong Kong, China mainland and Miami.

Beretta began as general manager of East Miami and vice president of Swire Hotels in the US in 2015. Armed with 25 years of industry experience and the ability to speak five languages, the industry stalwart is also familiar with business and resort properties, as well as luxury hotels with private residences across multiple continents.

Kristina Snaith-Lense is now general manager overseeing The Upper House and Pacific Place Apartments.

She joined the group in 2012 as assistant director of guest experience at The Upper House in Hong Kong, later moving on to support the pre-opening of The Middle House in Shanghai as hotel manager before returning to The Upper House as hotel manager in 2019.

In Beijing, Olivier Dumonceaux is promoted general manager at The Opposite House, where he has been the hotel manager since 2018.

Dumonceaux's hospitality journey started in Lyon, France, and he has since worked across nine countries in the sector. His first role for Swire Hotels started in 2014 at The Temple House in Chengdu, where he was first director of R&B and then as executive assistant manager.
