GOPASS Global is embracing a "breakthrough data solution" to help travel agents and corporations plan global Covid-safe travel for their clients.
The pre-travel risk management platform, which launched in January this year, uses advanced analytics to provide an end-to-end view of all aspects of employees’ travel and their risk of exposure in the cycle of travel.
By distilling the relevant facts from 35 data sources in near-real time, GOPASS Global creates an objective and quantifiable risk score that summarises the biosecurity risks associated with the customer’s itinerary, including the destination, routing, transit points, airline, aircraft type and even the cabin and seat.
GOPASS Global Director of Distribution Dave Simmons says the platform helps TMCs and travel agencies to "navigate their way through the bewildering and ever-changing maze of information about Covid impacts on travel".
To better assess the risk associated with any proposed itinerary, Simmons says maximum scores can be set as part of a company’s travel policy and complement existing duty of care programmes.
Agents can simply enter the trip PNR into GOPASS Global and receive a comprehensive assessment. "It’s super easy to use and will save consultants hours of time searching for information,” said Simmons.
It has also already signed up major TMCs, agencies and distribution networks in Europe, North America and the Pacific, with more signings expected in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Sabre has also partnered with Gopass Global to assign a biosecurity risk score for each flight itinerary that travel agents see.
