Royal Caribbean Group has officially opened its first private destination in Europe – the Royal Beach Club Santorini on 27 April.
Only Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea passengers may purchase entry to the club, alongside local Greek residents.
The beach club can be booked as a shore excursion, called the Ultimate Santorini Day. Here, visitors can lounge along the bland-sand beach, flanked by a DJ booth, buffet area, grab-and-go-style food, and unlimited flow of draft beer, house wines and other drinks.
Visitors can also spend the day exploring the white-washed buildings and blue-domed churches in Oia, and Fira’s art galleries and shops.
The Royal Beach Club Santorini marks the group’s strategy in growing its vacation portfolio to eight by 2028. In December, it opened Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau. More are in the pipeline, including one in Lelepa, Vanuatu, its first in the South Pacific.
