Railbookers Group has strengthened its Asia leadership with the appointment of Nick Lim as vice president, Asia, as it accelerates growth following the launch of its regional operations.

Lim brings more than 25 years of travel industry experience, with a strong track record in building and scaling global travel brands across Asia. He most recently served as CEO, Asia for The Travel Corporation, where he spent over two decades. His career also includes time as general manager, Asia for Norwegian Cruise Line.

“I am thrilled to bring someone of Nick Lim’s caliber, reputation, and leadership experience to Railbookers Group as we continue our launch in the Asian market,” said President & CEO Frank Marini. “With the global demand of independent rail travel rising, Nick will be instrumental in our ongoing expansion and success in Asia, and I have no doubt he will be successful in the role.”

Based in Singapore, Lim will spearhead Railbookers Group’s expansion strategy across Asia, working closely with trade partners as demand for independent rail travel continues to gain momentum in the region.

“With the interest of rail holidays that have significantly picked up here in Asia in the last two years, I am excited to be at the forefront of this growth with Railbookers Group,” said Lim.

“For our travel agent partners, Railbookers make booking rail holidays effortless by providing one-stop-shop solutions. Our goal is to make selling rail easy and almost overnight, our partners are able to plug into the next 'in' thing by adding rail holidays to their product range,” he added.
