The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) has announced its newly appointed board of directors, positioning itself as the primary media resource on tourism issues in the Philippines.
Representing more than 600 travel agency members nationwide, PTAA is the country’s largest organisation of outbound and inbound travel professionals, advocating industry growth, standards and innovation.
The association is led by president Jaison Yang, who served as PTAA’s public relations officer in 2024 before being elected as EVP in 2025.
PTAA says the board will serve as its authorised voice, and all media enquiries and official statements are to be coordinated through these designated officers.
The board now comprises EVP Evelyn Dy Bondagjy, VP for Visayas and Mindanao Matt Poonin, VP for outbound Rowena Coloma, VP for inbound Ellen Cobarrubias, secretary general Arnel DC Gomez, past president and chairman for international affairs Evangeline Tankiang-Manotok, treasurer Helena Ty, public relations officer Chal Lontoc, and auditor Amie Demapindan.
PTAA also named a slate of assistant officers covering outbound and inbound travel, administration, treasury and communications.
Working closely with the Department of Tourism and local government units, PTAA said it will continue to promote sustainable tourism, professional development and community-based initiatives through the PTAA Foundation.
