Connexus Travel has been appointed official sales agent for FIFA World Cup 2026 across Greater China, the first time a Hong-Kong agency has received this role.
The 78‑year old agency will deliver premium World Cup hospitality experiences for fans, including guaranteed match tickets, access to luxury suites and a full spectrum of premium VIP experiences tailored for both corporate groups and individual travellers.
All packages include round trip flights, luxury vehicle transfers, accommodation, dedicated account manager, complemented by on-site concierge support.
Connexus Travel’s audience size is estimated at 300 million across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, underscoring Hong Kong’s rising influence in global sports travel.
On 16 January, the team hosted its launch event in Shanghai, reaching out to key partners, media, and industry leaders, also inking a partnership with Shanghai City Tour Card, the city’s official tourism card operator.
“We are committed to delivering experiences that bring fans and partners from Greater China and to the very heart of the action, with hospitality and service that go far beyond the stadium,” said Connexus Travel CEO, Abel Zhao.
The FIFA World Cup 26 will be hosted across three countries – the United States, Canada and Mexico – featuring 48 teams competing in 104 matches across 16 host cities over 39 days, from 11 June to 19 July 2026.
