Nearly 30 years since opening in 1997, Club Med Bintan is rolling out a major refresh centred on family and multigenerational travel. The enhancements will be introduced progressively through 2026.

The first update arrives in July with Club Med’s first Amazing Family! Hub in Asia – a 300sqm social and play space featuring an indoor playground, workshop areas, interactive games, karaoke rooms and lounge area. The accompanying Amazing Family! programme is designed around shared family experiences focused on creativity, connection and play.

Elsewhere across the resort, new pickleball courts and a waterplay zone add more daytime activities for guests.

Dining concepts have also been refreshed.

The redesigned Panorama Coffee Shop transitions from morning coffees to sunset drinks, while Terrace Gourmet Club serves Indonesian and international cuisine, including vegan and vegetarian options.

Opening by end 2026, The Grill will introduce an evening dining concept centred on grilled seafood and premium meats in a coastal setting.

All 308 rooms have also been refurbished with a more contemporary look and will relaunch in phases throughout the year.

For multigenerational groups, new deluxe family-themed rooms feature dedicated children’s sleeping areas alongside separate adult zones for added privacy, while child-friendly amenities are now available across all room categories.
