Discova opens doors in Kuching

Destination management company Discova has opened a new branch office in Kuching, Sarawak, strengthening its B2B presence in Malaysia and expanding services across Southeast Asia.

Tapping on Sarawak’s mix of rich cultural heritage, pristine rainforests, and indigenous communities, Discova’s Kuching branch will act as a hub for trade partners looking for tailor-made travel experiences in East Malaysia, spanning FIT, group, and MICE segments.

Officiating the event were Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh Askor, CEO of Sarawak Tourism Board, and Amelia Roziman, CEO of Business Events Sarawak. Key Discova leadership also attended, including Mike Chan, regional manager for Indonesia, Singapore & Malaysia; Tricia Loh, country manager; and Datuk Hamzah Rahmat, director.

“Opening our Kuching branch is a milestone in our commitment to showcasing the diversity of Malaysia,” said Tricia Loh, who also highlighted the company’s focus on responsible tourism and community development.

The new office features a full-service local operations team, integrated regional support, and custom solutions for leisure, educational, and incentive travel.
