Charlotte Travel, a Hong Kong-based luxury travel agency has opened a new Singapore office to better serve a growing Asia-Pacific clientele seeking “sophisticated and exclusive travel curation”.
The move marks the company’s second office outside its home market, following the opening of its first overseas location in Bhutan.
Founded in Hong Kong in 2001 by Jackie Harris, the female-led agency has spent the past 25 years evolving luxury travel from a transactional service into a long-term advisory model. Daughter Charlotte Harris joined the business in 2014 and assumed the role of CEO a decade later, continuing the company’s focus on bespoke, experience-driven travel.
On picking Singapore as its second office beyond headquarters Hong Kong, Charlotte Harris shared with Travel Weekly Asia that Singapore is a natural choice.
“Charlotte Travel has spent 25 years transforming travel from transaction to relationship – and Singapore is the perfect place to take that promise further. It is one of the world’s most sophisticated travel markets: connected, discerning, and driven by experience, not just price.”
Serving Asia’s luxury travellers
The new office seeks to establish stronger connections and trust with Singapore-based clients, “as we know they want certainty, personal expertise, and one trusted voice when plans change”, she added.
The Singapore office will be led by managing director Louen Tang, who was promoted from his previous role at Charlotte Travel as an independent senior travel advisor and non-executive director.
"We're following our long-term clients who encouraged us to expand into the region and be where they are," said Tang. "This is about delivering the trusted and personalised expertise they've had for 25 years, now with local presence and insight."
The Singapore office will curate bespoke itineraries globally while providing deep curation within Asia and emerging destinations such as Portugal and Rwanda, alongside classic grand tours. Key areas of focus include multi-generational family travel, sophisticated business-leisure integration, and privileged access to rare cultural experiences.
To mark its 25th anniversary, Charlotte Travel will introduce "Charlotte’s Table": intimate themed gatherings curated by Charlotte Travel and a Singapore exclusive in partnership with private members clubs and lounges.
