Globus Family of Brands (GFOB) has announced that Chris Hall will transition from his role as managing director, Asia Pacific, into a newly created position of chairman and strategic advisor, effective 15 July 2026.
The move comes after more than a year in which Hall has led a broad refresh of the operator's APAC region strategy, spanning product, pricing and marketing. During his tenure, he introduced ‘Fly-free’ and flight-inclusive deals across Avalon Waterways and Globus, launched the 'Travel Deals you can Trust' campaign for Cosmos, and delivered the brand's first-ever advisor charter training programme.
Applauding Hall’s contributions to the company to date, GFOB President and CEO Scott Nisbet said: “Chris has shown great leadership of the APAC region over the past twelve months, bringing a laser sharp focus to our product offering and pricing in market and ensuring Globus, Avalon and Cosmos brands are set up for future growth.”
Nisbet added that the APAC region holds great potential for Globus brands, so the company is investing in the team to create the chairman and strategic advisor role while also appointing a new managing director to continue with the execution of the refreshed strategy.
In his new role, Hall will support the incoming managing director and leadership team to build on the momentum of the past year. "We have expanded our destinations and itineraries, refined our value proposition and can proudly say we offer market-leading value to our customers," Hall said. "I'm looking forward to supporting the team as we continue to build and expand the GFOB presence in the region."
GFOB is currently accepting expressions of interest for the role of managing director, Asia Pacific.
