Rail Europe has integrated the BritRail Pass into its global B2B distribution ecosystem, offering an expanded rail pass portfolio for global travel agents and tour operators.
The BritRail Pass is available to travellers residing outside the United Kingdom, and allows travel across the entire National Rail network in Great Britain across England, Wales and Scotland.
This covers major airport connections such as Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express, alongside overnight rail services such as the Caledonian Sleeper and Night Riviera.
In addition to the national BritRail Pass, the portfolio includes several regional passes, covering England, Scotland or the South West and South Wales, depending on a traveller’s route and travel plans.
The majority of BritRail passes are available in first and standard class, with both consecutive and flexible validity options, as well as youth, senior and child discounts, the company said.
BritRail also offers a range of other benefits, including a 2-for-1 entry offer for popular attractions.
“The BritRail Pass…complements our existing portfolio and enables our global trade partners to build more flexible, higher-value Great Britain itineraries, particularly for long-haul markets where regional exploration is becoming increasingly important,” said Björn Bender, CEO of Rail Europe.
“For the trade, the product addresses three core priorities: operational simplicity, fare flexibility and the ability to build structured itineraries across Great Britain,” said Rail Europe.
The company distributes the digital M-Pass version (ticket as QR code) through its B2B platforms, allowing agents to manage both booking and activation of travel days.
