The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has confirmed that its flagship event, PATA Travel Mart (PTM), will return to a familiar destination in 2027.
Taking place in Macao from 20–22 September 2027, the event marks PTM’s return to the city after a decade – and its third edition there, following previous shows in 2010 and 2017.
PATA CEO Noor Ahmad Hamid has expressed confidence in the destination’s “exceptional capabilities as a host destination,” following the association’s recent visit in 2024 during the PATA Annual Summit.
“We are looking forward to welcoming PATA Travel Mart delegates once again next year for a firsthand update on the dynamic developments of Macao as a world centre of tourism and leisure, with an emphasis on diversification,” noted Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director at the Macao Government Tourism Office. “PATA has always been an important platform for Macao’s tourism industry to connect with peers in the Asia Pacific and beyond.”
Hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the three-day event will offer networking and contracting opportunities for the global travel trade.
Besides the main travel trade show, PTM 2027 will offer delegates access to a full-day insight forum on the latest tourism trends, the PATA Gold Awards 2027 celebration, and additional social functions across the programme.
